The Solway Suite has been decorated and furnished in the style of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, probably the most famous and original architect of the early 20th Century.
Mackintosh was a Glaswegian and was involved in commissions for Miss Cranston's famous Tea Rooms. He developed the Glasgow Style, which has been reproduced throughout the building. He designed the high-backed chairs now associated with Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
Civil marriages are conducted from 10am to 4pm every day.
