If you form a civil partnership ceremony in Dumfries and Galloway you can choose the simple process to register your civil partnership or you can do this as part of a ceremony with the option to personalise it with some special words, a poem or a reading.

Types of registration

You can choose 2 types of registration for your civil partnership:

• simple registration [DOC, 23KB]
• ceremony with registration [DOC, 23KB]

The ceremony script can be personalised with your readings or poems. The registration staff will be happy to advise you on how to do this. Contact our dedicated team of civil celebrants for advice on how to alter and personalise your ceremony

Timing and arrival

Everyone should arrive about 15 minutes prior to the civil partnership.
