Commercial waste

All businesses must use a registered waste carrier to collect and dispose of the waste from the business.

Dumfries and Galloway Council is the largest registered waste carrier in Dumfries and Galloway. All of our services are designed to meet legislation and regulations, to help your organisation meet its legal responsibilities. 

Our service:

• is fully compliant with the Environmental Protection Act 1990
• follows the Waste (Scotland) Regulations 2012

We'll visit your business to assess your site and advise where and how we would collect your waste. 

We'll discuss your individual requirements and organise collection days and times that suit your needs. This could involve weekly, fortnightly, monthly or seasonal collections.
