Commercial waste
Our 100 staff and 30 vehicles provide services to over 2,000 commercial customers across the region. We'll work with you to identify the most appropriate and cost-effective services for your business.
Farm waste
We do not collect farm waste with our domestic or commercial waste services.
If you produce farm waste such as plastic films and twines you have a legal duty to take measures to apply the waste hierarchy. This means, in order of preference, you should ideally avoid generating waste, reduce the amount of waste generated on farm or reuse the materials to extend their useful life The most practical steps you can take are to:
- recycle your waste by engaging with a specialist contractor
- recover your waste by other means, for example by sending it to an authorised energy from waste facility.
- as a last resort, dispose of your waste at an authorised landfill - you may need a professional collectors and transporter of waste to access the landfill
- if a land manager carries waste for someone else, even if it is from another land manager, they must be a registered waste carrier (RWC)
