Apply for a road permit or closure
Apply to do work on, close or occupy part of any of our public roads, pavements or car parks.
Apply to occupy a road or car park
If you want to occupy part of one of our roads, you must apply for permission. For example, to:
- use a skip
- put up scaffolding
- display a hoarding or signage
- store building materials
Applications require at least 10 working days notice and in some cases may require 28 days notice.
Applications cost from £116 to £268.
