Get bus and ferry timetables

Due to operational issues there are changes to the following services on the dates listed below:

From 8pm on Friday 15 November 2024  to 6am on Saturday 16 November 2024 

Route X74 - Due to A701 road closure

During the Closure X74 services will Divert Via Dumfries Bypass, A709 to/From Lockerbie and B7076 or M74 to and From Beattock.

Due to a road closure for Lockerbie Christmas Light Switch on there will be a service disruption that affects the routes below:

Saturday 16 November 2024 from 12 noon to 7pm 

Route 81

Services will divert via B7076, B7068 then B723 onto Alexandra Drive and into terminus.

This will also be the same route in reverse when returning to Dumfries.

Stops on High Street, Bridge Street, Sydney place and Hill court will not be served during these times.

Route 104

The following services will not operate: 

1.15pm, 1.46pm and 2.55pm. 

Sunday 24 November 7am to 7pm

Moffat Christmas Festival Light Switch on

Please use bus stop at Esso, Benmar Garage, Church Street, Moffat.

Town service will operate as normal but unable to go onto bus stop on High Street.

Route X74

To facilitate Christmas Market and Light Switch on.  

Road Closure of Moffat High Street between Colvin Fountain and Bus stance, Bus will Service the Stops opposite/Outside the petrol Station and Turn using the Moffat Mill Car Park
