We deal with applications for planning permission in Dumfries and Galloway. This process is also known as development management.
Our standards of service
We are committed to providing a high standard of service to our customers. We have developed a series of service standards and performance targets, which we regularly review.

Planning performance framework
We are required to submit a performance report for the planning service to the Scottish Government each year. The report:
- covers our performance against key outcomes
- details future service improvements
