If all the information above is not provided, a planning enforcement case will not be opened.
We will send an acknowledgement within 10 working days if the information you've provided suggests there has been a breach of planning control.
We prioritise investigations based on the:
The time to resolve issues or take action will vary on a case-by-case basis.
We will consider each case and decide on the best solution. We aim to resolve problems rather than punish mistakes. Only a small number of cases usually require formal enforcement action. We will try to resolve matters through negotiation if possible.
