Most of our leisure centres offer daily exercise and fitness classes. There are a range of expert-led classes to choose from.

Our fitness instructors are highly experienced and can deliver a wide range of fitness classes, including the market leading Les Mills workouts. 

Our classes are either:

  • 30 minutes
  • 45 minutes
  • 60 minutes

Les Mills Body Pump Led by the Fitness Team. A weights class for absolutely everyone. This form of weight training will make you toned, lean and fit. Using light to moderate weights with lots of reps. This class will give you a total body workout that burns lots of calories. Helps you to get lean, toned and fit. Raises heart rate. Burns calories. Increases muscular endurance and strength.

Les Mills Body Balance Led by the Fitness Team. Ideal for anyone and everyone. A yoga-based class that will improve your mind, body and soul. Helps improve your mind, your body and your life. Improves posture. Improves core strength and stability. Increases flexibility.

Les Mills 'Technique' Led by the Fitness Team. A class to teach you the fundamental movements and body positions of the selected class discipline. Ideal set up and practice for the main class. Gives you the chance to voice your concerns over anything that the class entails. Increases confidence in your own ability.

Les Mills Grit Strength Led by the Fitness Team. This class uses barbells, plates and a bench to build strength and lean muscle. Designed to improve strength. Improves your cardiovascular fitness. Helps to build lean muscle. Calorie burner. Increases muscular endurance and strength.

Les Mills Grit Plyo Led by the Fitness Team. Using the bench and the principles of plyometrics this class will build a powerful, agile, athletic body. Increases explosiveness in the body (being able to generate power correctly and quickly). Helps to build a lean and athletic body. Calorie burner.
